Dale Junior’s Post-Race Interview
Here’s Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s MRN post-race interview following his victory in the Lifelock 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday. As you can see, in this one Earnhardt’s had a few minutes to get his wits about him, and it’s a little easier to translate than his interview in Victory Lane.

I know I have made fun of Jr’s mannerisms when he is interviewed right after the race, but that just shows he is human, and I appreciate that. When he does have time to think about what he will say, before a camera and a mike is shoved at his face, he is much more eloquent. That post race press conference was a lot of fun.

Yeah, it’s funny, though, because I don’t always remember Junior being that way. It really seemed like he started stumbling in his post-race interviews around the mid-point of last season when he began getting frustrated with his team’s performance.
The stumbles are all probably stress-induced, I’m sure. (cue Alicia)
