11/19 – NASCAR CEO Brian France denied allegations that NASCAR was close to being sold, claiming that the France family had no plans of selling.
11/19 – Juan Pablo Montoya won the honors as the Nextel Cup Series’ 2008 Rookie of the Year.
11/20 – Wood Brothers Racing has signed Busch Series star Marcos Ambrose to run 12 Sprint Cup Series races next year beginning with the race in Sonoma, CA.
11/20 – Mike Ford, Crew Chief for the no. 11 Joe Gibbs Chevy driven by Denny Hamlin, was named the Nextel Cup Series Crew Chief of the Year.
11/20 – Fastenal has signed with Chip Ganassi Racing to sponsor the no. 40 Dodge driven by Dario Franchitti in the Nationwide Series next year.
11/21 – David Ragan won the NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year honors. This marked the third consecutive Rookie of the Year award for car owner Jack Roush.
11/21 – Willie Allen won the Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year award.
